** Description changed:

  By default, suspending to RAM is not functioning correctly on Acer Aspire 
3810T laptop:
  1) suspending seems to be performed correctly;
  2) if you try to resume the laptop by pressing any key, the LEDs, fans etc. 
seem to power on, but the screen stays black and in ~30 s. the system powers 
down.
  
- To make it normal, one should use a "i8042.reset=1" kernel parameter.
