Public bug reported: Had just logged in, started xfreerdp, firefox, nautilus and a terminal. Then X went away, returning to say there was a problem and ask if I wanted to run in basic graphics - then froze.
I Alt-F1'd to a console and dumped dmesg to the attached file, tried to switch back to X and couldn't. Further input just produced junk characters in the console.
