General description: The pike7.8/pike7.8-core package (or a dependency)
fails during setup phase in server edition (12.04 amd64). This error
does not happen in desktop edition (I tried Xubuntu). Possibly a
missing dependency satisfied by default desktop installs?
Ubuntu version: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server amd64 (tested both with, and
without, doing "apt-get upgrade")
Full package version: 7.8.352-dfsg-4ubuntu2
Expected: a normal successful install as experienced on desktop edition.
What happened: Warning messages that are failures in Pike during setup
phase of install. Examination of Pike code involved suggests a missing
component or dependency. The following messages emitted:
