Hi, this is upstream.

Needless to say, I support this request for upgrading the Debian packages for
libti*/gfm/tilp, so as to bring Debian, Ubuntu, Mint and other Debian
derivatives in line with Arch and openSUSE ;)
I notified the package maintainer when I released TILP II 1.14, and again when
I released TILP II 1.15.

As all users of distributions without proper libti*/gfm/tilp packages,
users of Debian and derivatives have been successfully using
http://lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tilp/download/install_tilp.sh for more than
two years, but it would of course be better if they were able to install
precompiled packages :)

BTW: for the best usability, the libticables package needs to provide a
udev definitions file, as described in the CONFIG file from libticables,
and reminded by install_tilp.sh. If it already does, good, but I know
that not all libticables packages in the wild do.
