Yes so how to open it?

I have asked vuze to use that port for incoming connections.

I thought

sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 48261 -j ACCEPT
opens up the port.

when I try to tell gufw to allow incoming connection from that port it says
error carrying the operation.

It doesn't say what the error is.
