Sorry, the problem stays after I rebooted. The shadow is present again. It goes if I stop it / restart it through screenlets manager, only till reboot / relogin. I have only one instance of AppMenu running, but I find "Found a running session of AppMenu, adding new instance by service" in the AppMenuScreenlet.log, does it signify anything?
