First problem (bug) is that the network-manager disconnectes on boot even though it has the network name, security type, and password. Enable network and enable wireless are both checked and should connect instead of disconnecting.
Second problem (bug) is on selecting "Connect to hidden wireless network" all the selections are greyed out and won't respond to mouse, down errow, space bar, you name it. On my notebook with kernel 3.2.0-24 it asks for userpassword at this point, I assume quantal 3.4.0-5 network-manager is waiting for password but never did pop up the password menu and ask. After some time of trying, finally the selections work, all filled out and ready to go. Push enter and menu completes. Some time later, sluggish, finally connects like it should have at boot. At 1.66 GHz the network manager must be using up billions of instructions doing what? Any suggestions/try this/try that etc. would be appreciated.
