I have updated mine and now the touchpad does not react at all. only right click works?? I tried reverting the changes suggested on the forum page (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=11978187&postcount=131) and still no luck.
I have got xserver-xorg-input-synaptics installed. Which "synaptics Package" are you referring to?
