Going with fix released here. I did a recursive scan on a 12.04 system
and there's no more mention of mount-functions.sh (as pointed out by
Scott James earlier).

If you're still affected, something is clearly wrong on your system,
likely caused by an external package. Please try to reproduce the issue
on a clean install and if it still happens, file a bug against ifupdown.
