Going with fix released here. I did a recursive scan on a 12.04 system and there's no more mention of mount-functions.sh (as pointed out by Scott James earlier).
If you're still affected, something is clearly wrong on your system, likely caused by an external package. Please try to reproduce the issue on a clean install and if it still happens, file a bug against ifupdown. ** Changed in: netbase (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/431065 Title: networking uses mount-functions.sh which doesn't exist To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netbase/+bug/431065/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
