When I enter this in the terminal window " sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade " ( no quotes of course ) It searches for the update packages but then returns the below message: W: Failed to fetch http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/precise- backports/universe/i18n/Translation-en Something wicked happened resolving 'ca.archive.ubuntu.com:http' (-5 - No address associated with hostname) E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. I get a similar message when I use the GUI update manager as well. I have no problem with my internet connection or my net work, as I am reporting this bug now. Hopefully this problem can be resolved so I can update the security features and get other important system updates.
