Hi Gary, I help many of my friends with their software, which is presumably where I came across the Brother printer. I can't even remember who has this printer, as I do not. I use the Software Center quite frequently and haven't had other problems with it, so let's just kill this bug. On of the very nice things about Ubuntu is that when an issue comes up, someone actually makes the effort to try to solve it. I used to be a Windows user and the world is very different there - I tried to report a bug and finally gave up because it was too difficult. Keep up the good work.
