Public bug reported: do-release-upgrade on ipv6 only connected hosts never shows a new version available.
Dist-upgrading by editting /etc/apt/sources.list is not recommend so i can't upgrade my lucid host to the latest lts-release. The problem is that changelogs.ubuntu.com has no AAAA record and is only available on ipv4. ** Affects: update-manager-core (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019241 Title: do-release-upgrade won't work on ipv6 only hosts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager-core/+bug/1019241/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
