envy is a script to install video drivers. it is a script that causes many troubles. feisty fawn 7.04 has the restricted drivers manager to install the right drivers. when you are using scripts as automatix and envy it is more difficult to solve this problem..... - 1)install the right drivers. use the restricted drivers manager---reboot - 2)then run glxgears to see everthing works fine - 3)install beryl/beryl manager, and emerald theme manager---reboot - 4)try beryl
