hi decafbad, I see the same thing here in Luninux12. Luninux is a further ubuntu- based Distro. Luninux12 is based on Ubuntu Precise. So this bug does not only affect Ubuntu, but more or less all ubuntu-based distros like LinuxMint, Luninux and other Ubuntu-derivates with Gnome-Shell
