@Tim: I second that. It happens immediately during web browsing. I only tried Firefox & Chromium.
@Jeremy: I second that as well. I switched to Fedora because of this mess. I promoted Ubuntu in the past, but have become really afraid to do so... this bug makes the machine utterly unusable. I'd rather recommend users to stick to their virus- and trojan-infested Windows install.
