In my qbittorrent.conf the 'minimise on start' was set as false. But I saw another file: qBittorrent-resume.conf en renamed it to qBittorrent-resume.conf.old Then QB started OK, with all torrents present (I shut it down and wanted to restart it, because a lot of torrents stalled... it helps with u torrent, and maybe even with Transmission).
