Interesting, after removing the kernel module parameter (=restoring the original state) rebuilding the initial ramdisk and reboot, audio works, and it's ok with browsers too!! I dont understand this now. However as far as I read verious google hits, it was the case for some people: after adjusting audio output etc it starts to work FOR A WHILE and then it's bad again ... Till now it's ok for me.
