** Description changed: I have an MP4 player (Dick Smith Electronics MP3 player 8GB DSE N19 A8705 specifically) that should be automounting but will not automount. Also when I do a restart when the device is plugged into the usb 2.0 port the computer won't get past to the bios screen. EDIT: strangely it will now. ?? the device still functions, as do my usb ports. + Also Windows 7 reports the device as malfuctioning if you attach it while it is powered on (It must be off when you plug it in).
