Well, you do what you must.

It still occurs as described.  I was loading the debugger every time I
started Evolution but that's quite time consuming.  Of course as soon
as I stopped it did it again. (Now if there was some way to get the
debugger to load automatically for a particular application ...)

It may have something to do with the other error I get - "lost
connection to backend process".

It's definitely something to do with the connection to MS Exchange.
