I think this package should depends on git. Can you fix it, please?

Some nitpicks:
- there are more than one authors, but just on copyright older?
- can you please bump to latest standards-version of the debian policy?
- debian/docs list twice README.txt, needs cleaning :)

The rest looks ok. There is another discussion about how useful this
will be in builder environment (as the tarball is always present), but I
guess this is for continuous integration, isn't it?

Please fix at least the first issue, (the rest is a bonus) and upload
it. I'll ack and push it to main then.
