A few minutes ago I managed to trigger the bug by pressing on the num
lock key. Firefox, terminator and Eclipse were running at the time.

- Ubuntu 12.04
- ATI RS780L, Radeon HD 3000 with fglrx

$ apt-cache policy gnome-settings-daemon
gnome-settings-daemon:
  Installed: 3.4.2-0ubuntu0.3

After I shut down X with sudo stop lightdm /usr/lib/dconf/dconf-service was
doing a lot of I/O for a few minutes.
