Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-nettool

After installation og Ubuntu version 6.16 on my Sony Viao laptop, the
Wireless card doed not show up in Devices - Network tools. If I go to
System - Networktwo wired connection are shown, wlan0 and eth0. I can
configure eth0 and connect via lan cable, but there is not possible to
connect via wireless connection (as no wireless connection is shown as
exepted for wlan0). Under hardware information my wireless hw is shown
as Prism 2.5 Wavelan chipset Please advice what the problem might be.

FYI the wifi worked unde Ubuntu 6.10.
