@ Nikki1993 - From your log in comment #7, your problem seems to have been caused by a PPA that you were using. This is separate to, and before, the PPA you mentioned in comment #8.
@ psypher - Something that I missed originally is that your problem might have been caused by upgrading from Oneiric to Precise before the final version of Precise was released. This is probably why the 2 fresh installs worked. During the development period of an Ubuntu release (before the final version is released) it is always safer to test with a LiveCD or a clean install. There are other reasons for testing the upgrade process before final release, but broken package dependencies are expected at certain times when some packages are updated out of sync with other packages. @ shnifti - Did you upgrade or make a clean install of Precise? Can you attach the installation log, similar to those provided in this bug's original description and in comment #9? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933495 Title: gstreamer unmet dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg/+bug/933495/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
