I can confirm that on my Lenovo T61P ....

with :

Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN
[Kedron] Network Connection (rev 61)

that the following option works to STOP the blinking WiFi LED.

options iwl_legacy led_mode=1

In file :
/etc/modprobe.d/wlan.conf


These two DO NOT WORK (that's why they are commented out....)

#options iwlagn led_mode=1
#options iwlwifi led_mode=1
