I can't reproduce this. To be clear, you did not have this problem with 1.0+noroms-0ubuntu13, but you did as of 1.0+noroms-0ubuntu14 ? Can you confirm that by re- installing 1.0+noroms-0ubuntu13 (using 'dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/archives/qemu*ubuntu13*.deb') ?
