Public bug reported:

After boot I click on my account icon in the gdm list.
Then it prompts me for the password.
I recognized the "Num Lock" keyboard LED is lit since poweron of the computer.
When I start entering my password the "Num Lock" keyboard LED switches off.
(No, there is no "Num Lock" key contained in my password.)
I press enter to finish login, but it shows the login fails.

At first I thought I typed my password wrong for weeks at the first login after
boot, but this time I did it extra slow to be sure.
Funny is, there are other people using this computer, but they seem to not have
noticed it, yet :) They will be so annoyed when they find out, too :)

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
