In my case, the problem of weather indicator stuck was solved today doing a system update.
If you do not already have incorporated the repository of weather indicator team, you can add it by the following command : sudo add-apt-repository ppa:weather-indicator-team/ppa then: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade that's all.
