EVeryone else was asking questions I already tried, so solving it myself (and gathering the necessary facts) seemed like the best solution. The purpose of the questions were to solve the bug. I had been asked a ridiculously absurd number of things to post and no one else was asking those questions, so I posted them. This the most ridiculous thing. I [EMAIL PROTECTED] hate Ubuntu now. Everythnig -- the video, the sound -- that you try to use never works, after that a torturing process of terminal prompts and ridiculous apt-gets insues. I can't complain to anyone because no one is to blame and trying their best, but the copious number of bugs in this OS is wretchedly frustrating to me. Anyways, alsa-info.sh still says uploading information to www.pastebin.ca.
