Christopher, yes, this is still an issue. I have filed a new bug report from the .apport-file (I saw no way of attaching it to this report with "ubuntu-bug -c").
Please see Bug 1032362. It will be at least one week until I can test the upstream kernel. This is a production environment in a school with over 200 LTSP clients. Kernels are not easily replaced on these machines. But as it's summer holidays for the next weeks, I think I will manage.
