I used Ubuntu 10.10, but it was with the now outdated Poulsbo drivers. 
Then if I remember correctly there was no problem. But it makes no 
difference since the driver has changed. Previously the psb_gfx driver, 
now gma500_gfx driver was not available.

The issue remains with the latest Ubuntu alpha 3. I strongly believe it 
is an gma500_gfx issue affecting whole Linux. I will run the 
apport-collect from my netbook which has the issue. This will be a 
separate message.
