Public bug reported: Acer 1810 TZ; wifi was ok on my previous installation(Ubuntu 10.10).
Fresh install of Xubuntu 12.04, fully updated : cannot connect to my wifi network (Freebox V5) I have seen here several bug reports that seem to challenge this chipset (centrino wireless-N), but nothing identical. > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/994104 > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/876147 Within two hours of testing various (including deactivating wifi N), it hung the network twice for a few seconds (the password is then OK). He will keep searching and asking for more network password regularly (WPA-TKIP). As this bug affects (X)Ubuntu 12.04, it is not possible to use it on my laptop.
