Just an fyi: I looked it up online before posting, and i have to agree with you that it's not a common error. I couldn't find anything on google.
It doesn't matter which screensaver i use, though. It happens with all of then. That is, until i fixed the gconf entry as stated earlier. It's strange, thought, because it happened on this computer (a Lenovo T60 laptop) under a clean ubuntu 6.10 installation and a clean 7.07 as well.Iit also happened on my old Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop under 6.10 (I haven't tried with 7.04). I haven't seen it happen on other ubuntu installs. I just thought I'd post it here so the Ubuntu maintainers would make sure the default is not "lock_use_screensaver_settings = false". -- "lock screen" option doesn't work (always locks) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
