Actually the problem turned out to be that I didn't have precise-updates and precise-backports missings from sources.list. > P.S. Why did you want to do a reinstall? Did flash just stop working for > you? It was never installed to begin with, because without p-updates and p-backports the installer pointed to a old version of the plugin which was missing from the download site. The biggest problem is that the flash install fails silently.
