I am experiencing the same issue on a Samsung R55 Notebook. Plus, I noticed a major slowdown in Hard Drive I/O. It's ~4 times slower now than with Edgy. This is a critical issue for us, as we need to perform time consuming operations on a database. Can you please flag this bug as major or critical so it gets more attention?
