I am using my brand new System76 12.04 LTS laptop. This issue has plagued me since day one. It is very irritating. The only temporary fix I found is rebooting the machine. Any updates on this issue?
** Description changed: Flash videos play at several times (3-4x, probably) normal speed. After booting up the computer, flash videos play normally in the browser. After about 30 minutes, they begin playing faster than normal. Restarting the browser has no effect. Once the problem begins, it occurs in both Chrome and Firefox, until the computer is restarted. I have observed this problem both in kernel version 3.4.0 and in 3.4.4. I have the xorg-edgers updates installed (due to other problems for my computer if I use the older xorg repositories).
