Public bug reported:
After upgrading from 11.10 to 12.04, byobu now doesn't display any
notifications at the bottom of the window. All I get is:
0*&$
at the bottom left of the window.
I have tried 'purging' byobu, and deleting the ~/.byobu directory, all to no
avail. One thing I have noticed, that is odd, is that the .byobu directory has
not been recreated.....
