read is more than 8 months old, nevertheless if anyone in the staff is
still interested in solving this bug, I'd be very happy to carry out
whatever testing is needed.

(I thought I would upgrade to 12.04, however, I have read a huge bug
thread describing similar issues this morning. I prefer to sort 11.04
out, which works well.)

I write below some facts:
* the bug is: a complete system lock. Not even IP connections work: The host
shares its connection and Internet is unreachable from my home network when
system on the host locks.
* audio output loops
* I cannot switch to virtual terminals
* There seems to be a correlation to video playing in firefox, e.g., youtube
videos, however there are cases in which apparently no video is being played
* # uname -a
Linux ra-sun 2.6.38-15-generic #65-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jul 26 20:13:19 UTC 2012
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
* The output of nvidia-settings --query all is attached

Looking forward to your input,

S.
