Public bug reported: When I try to log in the onscreen keyboard (onboard) does not appear automatically. I have to click on the "universal access" button and uncheck onscreen keyboad and than check it again.
Possible solutions: 1.) Always activate the onscreen keyboad when "onscreen keyboard" in lightdm is activated 2.) Provide a additional button on the right hand side of the password dialoge to activate the onscreen keyboad ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: lightdm 1.3.2-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-11.11-generic 3.5.2 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-11-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.5.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Aug 26 14:34:13 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Alpha amd64 (20120821) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=de_DE:de TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: lightdm UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: lightdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug quantal running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041925 Title: onboard do not appear on login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1041925/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
