I can confirm the bug; clean install on single HDD, ECS P965T-A mboard with dual core, only ubuntu returns error 21.
Got RAID disabled in BIOS, to no avail. I want to note that this MIGHT have something to do with my JMicron controller, which offers plenty of bugs as well. I would love to see this fixed.
