I've been experimenting here as I use remmina on Mint 13 to remotely
control a media server hooked to my flat screen TV. In a running
terminal I used Ctrl-Alt-Z to shell out of a running tail -f
/var/log/syslog, then did an fg back into that running tail. Ctrl-alt-c
worked to abort it. I was unable to make Ctrl-C or Ctrl-V replacements
work using Ctrl-Shift or Ctrl-Alt modifiers. YMMV. HTH. HAND. Praise
"Bob"!
