Hi there :-) No LCD backlight control on Toshiba Satellite L735-101
The reported issue occurs on Ubuntu and has been tested and confirmed using vanilla upstream kernel 3.6.0-030600rc3-generic . LCD backlight is always maximum and doesn't change, although hotkeys seems to be recognized : Acting on hotkeys cause : /sys/class/backlight/toshiba/actual_brightness: and /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd "brightness:" ...values to increment / decrement, but this has absolutely no effect on real-world LCD brightness... Please find attached some diagnostics files I produced using Ubuntu backlight / kernel upstream issues reporting guide.
