Done. No xorg-server crash when using:

export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0
bzr explorer

and performing the reproducing procedure.


** Description changed:

  I am on Ubuntu12.10 Quantal 64bit.
  
  Using the bzr-exlorer -> Setup and peronalize Bazaar -> clicking the
  custimization button ; makes the system unusable.
  
  The harddrive starts with heavy load and no further mouse or keyboard
  interactions are possible with the whole system.
  
+ The xorg server crashed afterwards.
  
  Reproducing:
  
  1.Install bzr-explorer
  2.start bzr-explorer
  3.Click the "Setup and peronalize Bazaar" button
  4.click the customize button in there.
  5.See the system get unusable as described.
