UUID ntfs partitions are mounted fine with ntfs-3g but the tool ntfs- config doesn't recognize them as I described above. Otherwise it wouldn't ask for adding partitions which are listed in fstab with an UUID. I don't have made a request for an updated Feisty version I only posted this bug to prevent it from being in Gutsy.
