This is not a matter of how to make it work. I know how to fix it in a couple of different ways, but the user couldn't have the same clue. I can mount the cd and tell apt-cdrom where it is; I can adjust the fstab to say where is the correct mounting point for a device; And also I can do what mvo said, but it will not fix the bug.
