Hi, if I may add my two cents, I don't think the problem is related to unity. This is a driver problem. Of course this is only view, but it seems obvious to me. The driver is called radeon and all the trouble started , when AMD stopped the driver support for the "OLD" graphics cards. They stopped it, because they want you to buy a new pc. But as you I find a 10 year old notebook, which works just fine (when the driver is right), too young to go to the bin.
Anyway, I wish to confirm the fact, that the problem disappeared in 11.04 at one point. I was confident, that such a problem, once solved, would not come back. I was wrong (as so ofter, would my wife say :-) It's quite a typical view, the screen shows kind of zig-zag pattern between new and old contents. As you state, the window contents is corrected, when one clicks on the frame. So good luck to all who have a good old nc6000. fatboy92 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1023339 Title: partial window update in Unity 3D To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1023339/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
