>From time to time, I cannot precisely reproduce it, VLC runs two or three 
>loops over the same segment, usually shorter than 0.5 sec. Only with audio.
It usually happens during the first 1 or 2 minutes of playback.
Video doesn't loop.
The same happens also to LMMS, mplayer (CLI) and Youtube video playback with 
both Chrome and Firefox.
I do understand this could NOT be tightly linked to VLC in its own, but 
possibly to some library.
