Public bug reported: In Quntal, you are required to set up an "online account" in order to use Facebook and Picasa integration, but there's no indication of this in the UI-- the options simply aren't shown.
This was more confusing for me, because I *did* have Facebook and Google Talk set up in "Online Accounts". But these were imported from Precise and were shown as "Jabber account". Presumably not suitable, but this was not immediately obvious. This could be solved by showing the "Facebook" and "Picasa" options, but instead of displaying the UI, directing the user to create suitable accounts. Perhaps with a button to display the "Online accounts" dialog. It could also be solved by showing the options greyed-out, with mouseover text explaining how to enable them. ** Affects: shotwell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1048001 Title: Shotwell gives no indication how to upload to facebook, Picasa, etc on Quantal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shotwell/+bug/1048001/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
