dkms remove vboxguest/3.2.10 --all didn't help, but your hint was pretty good. I had to remove all virtualbox packages and then delete things from /usr/src and /var/lib/dkms, then reinstall, to get it working.
No idea where this stuff came from, since there was no package claiming ownership, and there has never been software on this machine except through debian-packages. So I don't know where this old stuff came from. I also wonder why the machine was working well just some days ago, but failed after recent update. Problem solved, thanks for your support and help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1049065 Title: Can't compile kernel modules for virtualbox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox/+bug/1049065/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
