This was a recommended update. My machine is a thinkpad T43p with ATI
FireGL V3200. I'm a little worried about restarting after the update.
There has been little support for this age of graphics card (2006) so I
was hopeful of some progress :(

I'm on the latest stable ubuntu with unity 2D.
