Oops I got confused with the ubuntu classic theme (sorry, I don't normally use gnome classic). Closing as invalid
** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Description changed: on 3.5.91, gnome-panel is displaying ambiance/humanity status icons, even though the icon theme is set to Adwaita. - The icons in the status area are displayed in full colour and are from - the Ambiance Theme, actually they should be from Adwaita icon them and - symbolic. - - It seems like gnome-panel ships a full set of icons, however these are - not included in the ubuntu package, so the fact they are full colour is - probably either due to the icons simply being missing or otherwise - perhaps related to this GTK bug 1044196. Atleast in precise these icons used to (I havent checked recently) display correctly as symbolic icons. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1050695 Title: gnome-panel does not obey icon theme To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1050695/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
